“Queer-ass Emo” - Cataracts from Cincinnati, Ohio
Cataracts was formed by Christian Gehring (he/they - vocals & rhythm guitar) and consists of members Violet Eadie (she/her - vocals & lead guitar), Stephen West (he/him - bass), & Clob Wirsching (they/them - drums). Formed in 2022, they’re riding the modern emo wave & bringing a new sound to the table while blending in with current favorites such as Carly Cosgrove & Arms Length. They immediately became a local favorite in Ohio, and are getting ready to release their first singles “Hanging Out With Your Cat” & “Propane Accessories” through Really Rad Records.
